Prayer for forgiveness

Gracious God,
I come before You as Your child, Your Servant,
desiring to serve You, desiring to obey You,
desiring to live according to Your word.
As I pray I thank You for all good things in my life,
and as I turn to You in faith,
forgive me of all my sins,
in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit,
be with me today and always,
Amen.
